"Dr. Kaufman is a wonderful partner to patients with IBD. While he can't cure IBD, he is a willing and helpful and always works to help his patients feel as good as they can. He is very responsive to email messages through his portal and has a very good assistant who is also available when care is needed. He comes highly recommended, but if you have trouble getting an appointment because the office staff or call center are less than helpful, don't give up. He's worth the wait. Once you're into the practice, you'll have a much easier time getting help when it's needed. "

"I've had 2 colonoscopies with Dr. Callahan in the last 5 years. He and his staff are outstanding. I've had several polyps removed and he's always great at explaining everything in detail. His staff works very well together and the communication from his office is excellent every time. "

He didn’t seem to review any of my medical records or be very thorough in general. He also didn’t seem to want to answer any questions that I had. Office staff also did not communicate well and botched my appointment. Nurse and PA were rude. Bad experience. Would not recommend."
