"I received care from Chris late 2013- June 2015. She was nice and understanding, but lacked punctuality and solutions. I was diagnosed with MDD and GAD, and immediately prescribed medicine. There were very little CBT in my appointments, but I continued to see Chris because my medicine worked at the time, and I felt okay. By fall of 2014, my medicine no longer worked and she switched me onto 2 different anti anxieties and increased my antidepressant dose. I could tell my medicine wasn’t working and could feel myself increasing in suicidal ideation (at the time I was 17), but she just increased the dosage each time I expressed my concerns. By June, I was on 60 mg of Celexa and 300 mg of Wellbutrin. At 17 years old. I expressed my concerns to Chris again, knowing I would leave for college, and she in essence told me the medicine was still taking its time to work. 3 months after she had increased the last dosage. I felt like a zombie, failed many classes my freshman semester, and was nearly hospitalized for the same suicidal ideation. It seems like she was trying to fix the problem by slapping medicine on it like a bandaid, and didn’t listen to my requests to wean me off my dosage when I could feel myself getting to a bad place. Shameful and dangerous, and should definitely not be working with adolescents. "
