"Just because some "would recommend" you don't hold your breath!! I called for information as a new patient. Was on hold for over 30 minutes only to be informed it is a minimum of 3 MONTHS, for new patient appointments. "

"I've been with Dr. Meyer's practice since just about 2010 when it was located at its former location. The practice has grown exponentially and perhaps that's the crux of my problem. There is no sense of personalization. Physician Assistants (PA) are the gatekeepers so to speak. I can't recall the last time I ever met with the Doctor. I am not a big consumer of health care and I suppose things have changed and my expectation to be seen by a Doctor rather than PA is unrealistic. Nevertheless it's what I want. My most recent encounter at the office was a visit only to be told to come back after I had Labs done. The office received the Labs, I recv'd a phone call informing me they looked good and that was that. Disappointing. I'm a 57 y.o. male. This is the age where the "warranty" begins to run out on our bodies. Wouldn't it have been prudent to invite me back for a complete physical? When's my next colonoscopy, what's with your weight gain since last visit? Any significant changes with your body? After 29 years in the Army I'm not one to offer up ailments or complain. I guess I was looking for the opportunity to be seen and advised to set an appointment. Dr. Meyer has built a tremendous practice over the years and I wish her the very best. I hope the growth was not a reaction to competing in the medical workplace or any sort of hubris. Adieu. the very best care to her patientsI was a patient but now I feel more like a customer"

"In 2022, when I decided to change pediatricians to a doctor closer to home I was mostly looking to change the geographical location of the our pediatrician. I looked at reviews, of course, but nothing on paper can really tell you the tenor, and disposition of a person. But then I found a doctor within a five minute drive and now we've been associated with Dr. Kalkiewicz's (Dr. K) office for a couple of years. Like I said, location was the key to our doctor change initially, so when Doctor K then decided to make a move to a larger more distant office a year later, it's funny, I didn't hesitate to follow him to his new office. At the time I didn't ask why, but now I know why. I just realized that although he is a serious practitioner, fully knowledgeable, and well versed, with my boys, he is also patient, kind, caring, and lighthearted. Making even a worried mom and a sick kid smile while in the throes of some serious concerns. Even when troubling things arise, how beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it and your trouble is in the right doctor's hands. "

"My family and I all see Dr. Holgado. He is an awesome doctor and really listens to what you want and need. He's never rushing out the door while talking to you and really makes you feel like your health and well being matters to him. He is also very punctual, I have never had to wait over 5 minutes for my appointment. This is how a doctor should be! "

"I'm a former patient of Dr. McFadden. I had a physical, blood work, and mammogram under her care. I specifically informed her that I was exhausted all of the time, and she responded that she too would be exhausted if she was running after little kids. She read to me only what recommendations were transmitted to her by other professionals via report. When I asked if she had an opinion of her own, she discharged me from her care. Turns out that I had thyroid disease and drug induced lupus. Obviously there's no correlation between an Ivy League education and a qualified provider. "

"My husband and I use Dr. Kalman and have been with Village Family Medicine for years. I can't recommend not only the doctor, but the nursing staff highly enough. The most important and most used feature of the practice is the nursing staff by phone. They get back to you with the answers you need, and call to check up."

"This was just our most recent visit, but Dr. Mehta has been the primary for both our kids since each of them were born. She's great with the little ones, as well as explaining anything that needs to happen to the parents, and even handling kiddos in a bad mood that day. Definitely a doc I suggest to our friends having kids!"
