"Dr Mattioni, was the follow up Physician for me to see on an Urgent matter when I first came to office 8/30. After strike heavy Medications my urgent matter had not subsided enough to make any of us comfy. Dr Mattioni was very respectful, kind, direct but detailed in going over past appt info and the best plan of action to subside my Major Pain, Swelling, and hope to not allow the infection move. We moved forward with in office minor procedure, YES it was painful with numbing meds but he allowed me to catch my breath when I needed to in middle of it all. Beside manor 100%, Listening Skills 100%, Details 100%, punctuation 85% (only because he takes his time which is a plus but started later then expected). ANY ENT issues moving forward will be with Dr Mattioni. "

What is Otolaryngology?

Otolaryngologists are also called 'ENTs' because their area of specialty is the ears, nose, and throat. Otolaryngologists treat most of the diseases and disorders that affect the head or neck. They can provide routine medical care, such as giving hearing tests or treating chronic conditions such as allergies. Otolaryngologists also perform a number of surgeries on the head and neck.
