"Michelle is absolutely Amazing and has the tools and skill set to tackle it all. I am very thankful I was sent to her. With very little time she acknowledges and listens to all of the moving parts not discounting one for the other and then formulates a plan/vision. Every hour session I have gained important tools to navigate this thing called life and I have felt uplifted in the darkest of times. Therapy is a tool to enhance, clarify, and give you direction so you can have quality time with friends and family while you’re working on yourself behind the scenes. Therapy hasn’t been offered like it is now and I embrace the opportunity each and every session. Thank you Michelle for everything you have done for me and your availability! Forever grateful! "Made an appointment for my 99 YO mother for memory testing, 2 months out. Arrived on time at the appointed hour as per usual and was told the appt. had been canceled because we didn't confirm the appt. Mom had called 2 days prior to affirm the date and time. Office staff claim that was not true. They said they called me 2X and Mom 2X and left messages to confirm. Not true. We were told it was cancelled because she was a new pt. Not true. We were told we were abusive. Not true. I traveled 900 miles to bring my Mom to the appt. we made that we expected to attend. Their reply? 'How is that my problem?' These people treated us like we were expected to accommodate them instead of vice versa. Completely unprofessional and rude. When we make an appointment, we keep it. I have no faith Dr. S and his crew of rude, snotty, entitled people even understand that an appointment is a verbal contract. Never again. Zero Stars"

"Let's be real, this person did nothing to help me whatsoever. Terrible Therapist at Edinboro. Belittled me because I'm Autistic and spoke to me as if I was 5 years old, that's discriminating to me and some individuals with my condition, also gave me a dirty look when telling her I was bullied during primary school, and she literally is confused with the difference between speech therapy and regular counseling. I told her it was my first time participating in counseling and she said and I quote, "No it isn't, it says here you did (flips open folder with my personal and medical history) speech..." yes speech THERAPY not normal counseling. Also, she told me to write on my whiteboard right by my dorm to put that I would get dinner at a certain time because I had a hard time getting out of my dorm last year, yes so strangers can come at me and perhaps sexually assault me, great idea Maria. She would constantly interrupt me whenever I'm speaking because well, she's rude and acts like she's in high school and the most popular individual there. Also had connectivity issues, given the fact that I had her appointments via zoom, and wouldn't hear what I would say sometimes on ZOOM. You're telling me you cannot hear me while at the same time sitting on a computer where you can turn up your volume. Her exercises never helped me whatsoever and the one session I had with her she made me cry and NEVER did anything about it, no comforting words, motivation to keep myself going, just nothing. All she did was say "sorry" and just sat there. Also she told me that if I needed to make any changes to make an appointment to not email her but to call the receptionist at the health center, like NO, the person's the receptionist at the front desk she can't make the appointments, you're my therapist so technically you're the one setting up appointments. Speaking of setting appointments, she would force me to schedule appointments when I didn't even need to at times. One time she told me I had half of my recommended scheduled sessions for the year, that's because half of them she would force me to set up appointment times, by how many days or weeks, I'd want the next appointment. She basically wanted me to waste my 10 appointments over the days I didn't want appointments. Overall, Maria is not my cup of tea, if you're willing to try Edinboro's therapy program, PLEASE do not go for Maria, try to ask for a different therapist. I hope this wasn't too hurtful or whatnot, no hard feelings on Maria. Just some things to get off my chest, I totally understand why it was hard to do sessions online because of covid. However, it was really rude and inconvenient. Hopefully, your actions will improve in future endeavors. :)"

"MALPRACTICE Safety and mental health at Wellspring of Life, LLC, is important except when it comes to protecting those who aren't patients - even that's questionable. I am presently struggling with fears for my life due to a woman struggling with active psychosis. Further, she's been and is currently on probation for violent crimes and drugs. She is a client of Wellspring of Life, LLC and patient of Patrick Damond. As a mandated reporter, and at advice of Erie Police, I contacted Patrick J. Damond, MDiv, MA, LPC, NCC, and owner of Wellspring of Life, LLC. Further, I contacted Crisis Services, a 302 mental health commitment was discussed, however I declined being petitioner having contacted Mr. Damond. Unfortunately, Mr. Damond did not uphold his responsibility to his patient's mental health, safety, mandated reporting, or the law. All while hoping to provide evidence of past threats since 2019, and those which are present, all forms of repeated stalking, manipulation, criminal activity, and attempts to evade and thwart the law only to perpetuate my abuse and make me fearful for my safety and life, etc., included, but were not limited to threats to my life by means of "killing me" and "burying me in lime," so that "even DNA evidence couldn't identify my body," "threats to shoot me," and evidence of inciting others to harm and kill me were ignored. A December 2022, arrest was made by Erie Police. Most important evidence - videos, emails, certified letters, and records of repeated stalking, harassment, this woman's prior arrest and subsequently granted PFA for pointing a loaded handgun at her former husband, etc., were either not reviewed or taken seriously. A recent frightening video in which death threats and other crimes were recorded by his patient and provided to counselor Damond, wherein this patient explained numerous crimes including stalking; that she drives past my home daily on her way to work, despite this being obviously out of the way were ignored. This has historically only been her way to keep tabs on me and my relationships only so that she can further harass, intimidate, and threaten me and those I'm involved with. I'm fearful for my safety and life and Patrick Damond had no interest in helping his patient or myself. Despite having provided all this evidence to Damond, these concerns for his patient's safety and my own were completely ignored. Thanks Patrick Damond!"
