"WARNING!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! HE IS THE WORST PROVIDER I HAVE EVER SEEN. I have been treated for chronic pain for years. I went to this Dr because my doctor in Washington could no longer treat me. This doc treats patients who are on opiod medications to treat pain as addicts. I have talked to several other patients who have all said the same thing. He is insulting, demeaning, and arrogant. If you do see him don't tell him that medication is the only thing that helps your pain, you won't like his response. As far as treating your pain he will tell you that pain is all in your head , medication does not control pain, and you control your pain with your mind. Then he will try to sell you a book. This Dr has ZERO compassion, does not listen to the patient, talks over you, and goes out of his way to make patients on opiod medication feel like degenerate addicts. "

What is Anesthesiology?

Anesthesiology is the practice of medicine dealing with the safety and comfort of patients during medical procedures, especially surgery. While many people think of anesthesiology as strictly providing pain control, anesthesiologists are also responsible for monitoring and supporting the health of patients during surgery. During a surgical procedure, anesthesiologists monitor the health of their patients. Among other vital signs, they may be watching:

Heart rate
Blood pressure
Oxygen level
Body temperature
Level of consciousness

If there is a sudden problem during surgery, the anesthesiologist is generally one of the first to know. They act quickly to correct the problem and keep the patient safe through surgery.
