Otolaryngologists - Bend, OR

"Unfortunately, one of the worst experiences we've had at a doctor's office. Our fist scheduled appointment with Dr. Renton was rescheduled because we were turned away for being 10 mins late. Completely understandable. I had, however, called 30 mins in advance to reschedule (little one had woken up sick) and was on hold for 25 mins, in that time I decided to just drive there anyways. I went ahead and filled out the paperwork so it’d be taken care of the next time we got in, and offered to let them take copies of some test results I’d brought with me. They informed me I didn’t need to worry about it yet, just bring it next time. I went in yesterday, got turned away again because the secretary had written down the wrong appointment date and time on the card given to me (still have the card), and the doctor couldn’t squeeze me in. The secretary then said Dr. Renton had looked at my child's notes and suggested we get a testing done first… so I presented them with the results yet again. We got there 2 mins past our appointment time today because we were waiting on my husband in the parking lot. Although, the secretary saw us walk in at that time, she couldn’t help us check in until a few minutes later because she was with a client. When we got to her desk she told us we were more than 5 minutes late and tried to turn us away AGAIN. She then said she’d check with the doctor - he’d already gone to lunch. She then asked me to fill out all the paperwork again because it hadn’t been scanned in. I've never experienced a more unorganized office. Furthermore the secretaries I spoke with were incredibly impolite, unapologetic and addressed me as though every miscommunication had definitely been my fault. I was dumbfounded to have had an experience like this, thus we decided to seek out another doctor because our relationship was already so tarnished with this practice."
