"I felt like a number vs being a patient. I was diagnosed previously with a specific skin condition by another dermatologist and she told her nurse to put it down as acne so that the insurance wouldn't be a problem. When I went back for a follow-up, her question was about my acne, not my diagnosed skin condition. This tells me that she doesn't know her patients. She and her nurse also do not remember the conversation we had. She told me she would send my lipid panel to my primary doctor and request to my cholesterol medicine. She claims she did not say that and that I'm the one who had to reach out to my doctor. The nurse was very dismissive and showed no empathy and gave no attempt to address the concerns I voiced. She suggested I find another doctor for a second opinion when I told her that I feel like I'm not being cared for properly. "
