Primary Care Doctors - Miami, OK

"My siblings died from Cancer/ I had seen another Dr. in the same building for the first time and he got hurt so we called this doctor and ask if I could see her and her be my primary doctor. I was told there wouldnt be any problem with it. I arrived at my appointment the receptionist was awesome, the nurse acted odd when my husband said we had been told that Dr.Mitchell was going to be my primary doctor. When Dr. Mitchell came in I said I was confused and she said why , my husband said well you are going to be my wifes primary from now on arent you and Wow with a big voice she said no ! She said Im going to be excepting new patients in 6 weeks but Im only doing a follow up for Dr. Walker the other doctor I had seen. She made it plain she was just seeing me to help the other Dr. out. I told my husband lets go I have to find a doctor to be my primary and if she cant be we need to leave, as we left the room she started laughing !! She had already seen my CT scan ( I have a calsified thyroid and a spot behind my breast ) I didnt think this is a laughing matter when I've lost family from cancer.."

"I was nervous about picking a doctor for my daughter. When she was born and we took her in for her first check up he made me feel like I made the right choice. He listened carefully to we asked and was very thorough. It’s been almost two years and every visit with him is always so pleasant. We leave very happy and satisfied with him. He is always so kind to us and he is always so sweet with our daughter. I definitely recommend him to anyone that wants a doctor that hears you out and treats you like a person. He doesn’t make you feel bad about any questions no matter how “dumb” you think they are. "
