"A life threatening and very large brain bleed was discovered inside my wife's skull on Wednesday. Her symptoms were severe cognitive deterioration and a loss of coordinated mobility. The next evening, she underwent a fairly routine, but still risky procedure to rid her brain of the large clot that was causing her mental and physical disabilities. The surgeon was Dr. Mason B. Andrews, and the surgery took place at Bergen Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE. The delicate operation was a resounding success. Under the leadership and direction of Dr. Andrews, he and his neurological team literally saved my wife's life. Today, just 24-hours removed from her procedure, my wife's cognitive functions have been restored and she is up and walking without any signs of the effects of the critical brain bleed she was suffering from just one day prior. I cannot thank Dr. Andrews enough. His concern for my wife's health and for the concerns of her family that had gathered at the hospital were clearly evident in the way Dr. Andrews made sure we all were well informed as to what he would be doing during the operation.
