"From the time I walked into the magnificent, immaculate and calming office, with classical music and lovely black -and-white photography of winter scenes, I felt comfortable and at-ease. The front desk staff members were warm and welcoming and helpful. They assisted in understanding my insurance coverage. After barely any time to enjoy the beautiful waiting room, I was escorted back to the exam room by Marie, Dr. Meyer's phenomenal medical assistant. I had an EKG and my vital signs were taken, and I was escorted to the ultrasound room for an echocardiogram. Again, no wait. Dr. Meyer then came into the room, and we spoke at first about my work, and my family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we discussed theater and music. By now, when I was thoroughly comfortable, he took my medical history and examined me. We discussed my global health as well as my cardiac health, and he put me at ease about my symptoms, and suggested holistic approaches to cardiac and global health. I never felt rushed. I have to say that I have never had this sort of experience, and in mid-50s, I have been to a lot of doctors. I would recommend without hesitation. I wish all doctor's appointments would be even half as terrific. "
