"Thorough, compassionate and attentive. Did I say thorough? I found her on ZocDoc with great reviews but I think we all know that they can be hit or miss regarding physicians. I found a gem. She was very responsive and attentive, listening to my concerns. She is very thorough. My first appointment was on a Saturday at 9am. The office had a little hiccup and ran about a couple of minutes late. (understandable) I waited for about 10mins after signing in and I spent about 45minutes in the office from initial encounter with Dr. Guichard, doing the ultrasound and discussing labs and recommended treatment plan. My previous gyn never even had an in-house sonographer let alone I always had to schedule a separate appointment at a radiology facility and then wait for a callback with results which could have taken weeks. I was shocked when she told me she was going to have me go for a transvaginal ultrasound and the tech came and called me into the next room to peform it. She reviewed every piece of labwork from my PCP and other specialist’s office and even requested that prior labs and imaging from 2017 be sent over. She didn’t force a treatment plan but diagnosed the issue and gave me several options. They use an medical record/platform system called patient fusion. When I had an issue after hours I sent her a message so that I wouldn’t have to bombard the office with a call the next mornig and she followed up immediately at 9am once she got in the office. I know she is a busy clinician from being in the office and seeing how many patients she juggles yet she manages to balance responding to patients and truly makes you feel like you are important. I never felt rushed in the office and everyone was extremely nice and caring (not even fake nice) from the medical assistant to the in-house sonographer. When I had an issue with a medication I was prescribed I call the office and let them know, they had the doctor call me back in 15minutes. It is also very easy to schedule appointments online through ZocDoc and patient fusion. The exam rooms may be a little out of date but the equipment looked topnotch. I guess if I had the choice between buying a new ultrasound machine vs modernizing the room I would choose the more important equipment. That’s fine with me because the quality of care I’ve received and continue to receive is amazing. I am a patient for life. Physicians like her are rare this day and age."
