"A wolf in sheep’s clothing. Don’t be mislead by what may appear as a friendly bedside manor. This doctor is not to be trusted. She lured me into the OR with the promise a pain free procedure only to do surgery she knew I would oppose. She did so by rushing me to sign a consent form on an ipad like device just before I entered the OR. She generated thousands of dollars while I had a month of being incapacitated. When I met with her, she played the victim card because I filed a complaint. No remorse. No empathy. Patients are nothing more than a revenue source. There are far better choices; Dr. Grucela of Yorktown, NY and Dr. Yee of White Plains, NY."

What is Surgery?

Surgery is the field of medicine dedicated to using surgical procedures to treat medical conditions. Surgical procedures can remove, transplant, or reposition organs and tissue within the body and can also implant medical devices. Elective surgery is any surgical procedure that can be planned for at an earlier date. For example, patients may decide to receive surgery for vision correction or for a hip replacement. Some surgeries are unplanned (also referred to as emergency surgeries), such as when an appendix ruptures or an individual endures severe injury.

Surgeons may collaborate with anesthesiologists, primary care physicians, specialists, and surgical assistants, among others.
