"I've intentionally chose this doctor because he was listed under Aetna's In-Network, Recommended, Maximum Savings tier. However, the doctor's office process insurance claims through another doctor "Jonathan Richard" who is not in the same insurance coverage. They do not tell you this when you visit and you only find out this despicable practice month later when you receive credit card bill for the total cost of the visit. In my case, I've even told them upfront that I'm only seeing doctor Herstik because my previous doctor is no longer covered under my insurance plan. They even assured me during the visit that my insurance will cover the service and left the office only paying for the copay. Aetna also seems to have nonchalant attitude about this since they don't have to cover your bills. Totally misrepresented and mislead by this doctor and the office. Beware of their charging practice otherwise you'll be paying for the total cost of service out of your own pocket and wasting time disputing the charges."
