"Dr. Salerno exceeded my every expectation. I was a nurse for 43 years and have been a patient since retiring. Unfortunately, I have had more than a few orthopedic surgeries, so I feel qualified to do an objective review. Dr. Salerno patiently and thoroughly answered my every question at the first visit. I realized that surgery needed to be done as soon as possible. He was thorough, kind and compassionate. The surgical coordinator scheduled the various medical clearances and diagnostic tests that I needed. On the morning of surgery, I met with Dr. Salerno briefly. He reviewed what he was going to do and that he would see me after surgery. The surgery went beautifully and the immediate post-op time was without incident. Daily visits by Dr. Salerno were very reassuring and he was completely aware of all aspects of my care. Without hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Salerno to anyone in need of spinal surgery."

"Saw Dr. Coyle for pain I was having in my right hand. The new office on Rte 1 In Avenel is gorgeous! The staff there was awesome and Dr. Coyle was the best! He was very caring and receptive to what I would tell him. He listened to me and explained everything that was wrong with my hand. I did not feel rushed. I was extremely pleased with the visit from start to finish! Turned out his father was the doctor who operated on my knee 40 years ago!!! Small world. Loved them both!!"

"I called for an appointment and was given a very hard time by the receptionist. She promised to call my doctor and call me back to schedule an appointment. Never did. Called again and it was like I never existed. Another very difficult time, I had to hang up she was so rude. If I could give negative stars I would. Don't bother calling it's a waste of your time. "
