Pediatricians - Hoboken, NJ

" Dr. Patel has a good bedside manner, but that no longer matters to me. This office has been my primary care provider for over 10 years, but I won’t be returning. I’m done with this office and Hackensack Meridian Health entirely. Every visit has left me with unexpected charges, usually from coding errors that don’t reflect the actual services provided. No amount of calls, visits, or even involving my insurance company has resolved these issues. One year, they mixed up my and my wife’s billing and lab results, I'm pretty sure that was a HIPPA violation, but also leading to extra charges for tests that weren't covered. Fixing that took months of persistent effort. This year, they offered to call if there were any anomalies in my lab results. The doctor called to say everything was normal, yet the call was coded as a separate visit, resulting in additional charges beyond my physical. Even my insurance provider admitted that this office and Hackensack Meridian are among the most difficult they’ve ever worked with. I’m done. I’ll find a new doctor who won’t add unnecessary stress to my life."

Dr. Vemula has been nothing but stellar and has been a great resource for all of our new parent questions. Her attention to detail and professionalism has given us great confidence that we chose the right doctor to care for out little one. The staff and resources at Tenafly Pediatrics have been amazing at answering questions and the ability to com in on a weekend at a non-primary location not to mention their night nurse service for those calls at 3am. 5 stars all around.
