"I just got out of the Renfrew center for Eating Disorders-in 2003/2004...This is who they set up and appointment with -saying that she specializes in EDs. That was my only issue at the time. In the past I self harmed I didn’t for many years before, we met. She looked at me as if she was scared of me. She told me because, I self harmed (even though it wasn’t a current issue for years) she couldn’t see me. That I needed to find another provider... what a great therapist Renfrew chose- who didn’t understand EDs go along with PTSD as does SH???????... I needed help recovering from my Eating Disorder not treat my past issues that were no longer relevant?! I could never forget her face or name from such a bizarre experience. I really hope that she is better now & more educated about things that surround EDs as She’s a “specialist”. My Dx was PTSD, GAD, and anorexia/ bulimarexia... Every time I do a web search for something in the field & come across her-I wished she knew how hopeless I felt- & not being able to find a therapist because, I had and eating disorder... in spite of the fact & lack of professional support. I have been in recovery since, 2005."

" Basically told me I shouldn't have called the police for abusive situations. Would've never imagined a so called professional to recommend rug sweeping abuse. She has no business being a counselor. Left office feeling worse than before I came in. "
