Otolaryngologists - Hendersonville, NC

"I saw doctor Stalford first, many years ago. I was very impressed with him then. Recently I had cause to see him again, and if anything, he’s even better than before. Though it had been 10 years since my first appointment with him, he took the time to read my records (something I rarely see physicians do with their rush, rush, busy schedules) and greeted me like it had been just last week. He was so thorough and made me feel like my health was the most important thing on his list today. He made me feel confident that he would do everything he could to get to the bottom of my issues. Twice since then, I’ve had the opportunity to talk to some other folks who are on staff at the hospital he is affiliated with, and they said EVERYONE has the same thing to say! They said if there were awards given out for best bedside manners, He would win hands down and they wish their PCP’s were like him. I’m lucky to have probably the best PCP in the state (Dr Tania Diaz)- so that’s not my wish- but I do wish there were more doctors like Dr. Stalford. He’s a rare bird. If you’re reading reviews, trying to choose an ENT, He IS THE BEST. He will take very good care of you… and you’ll leave wondering why there aren’t more doctors that take the time with patients, as he does. You’ll know you’re getting the very best of care with him. Oh, yeah, his staff is amazing as well. A month ago, I was at a different doctor’s office. The intake person was so sweet and efficient. She took me back to a little office and went over tons of paperwork with me. As I was leaving, I thanked her for her kindness and said I hope to see her again. She thanked me and said she would not be there. She was “on loan” from doctor Stalford’s office!! I started laughing and told her how special he was. She agreed- and said he was always that kind and detailed. He was the best to work for. So- there you have it. He IS the ONLY choice. I’m very grateful to be one of his patients. "

"My grand daughter was seen by this dr and dr melvin she was jn bad car accident 2-14-21,and these 2 drs are whk operated on her. They have left her in pain since then will not follow up with her havent helped her fet any help to fix her oroblems. She researched and finally got acceoted by duke university to see her because according to their surgeons to redo their mess they left her in. She has had to eat pureed food since 2-21 and her face was bad bad infected the surgeon at duke still has her on antibiotic that these surgeons never offered to put her on. When we called their office their staff is as rude. Wont gjve you any kind if help or whatt next step should be for cure. They shouldnt be allowed to do such a bad surgery on anyone and then just walk away with no accountability for what they done. I hope others never have to see this group as they dont know what they are doing their over payed want to be surgeons that arent. God have mercy on the ones they see. They have NO BED SIDE MANNERS but thats the least of their problems "

"He saw my grand daughter in ER at mission done z botched up surgery on her, would not take our calls or follow up with us after she was discharged from hospital and to this day still wont. My grand daughter is having to go to duke to get surgery that he done fixed which is going to take several to do. And his office staff are the rudest wont help you any way. If i hated my job as much as that staff seems to i would stay home and crawl under my bed so as to not be asked a question that might need my help solving. Lazy bunch non caring."
