"I was a patient of Dr Spanos for over a decade. He is a highly intelligent physician that spends a tremendous amount of time with his patients. Spanos truly cares about his patients. He was my PCP. When Dr Spanos went into semi retirement, it was just easier to have my records transferred to a UNC PCP. Spanos worked with UNC to ensure a seamless transfer. The one medical issue that I was having when Spanos treated is no longer an issue now. Dr Spanos had predicted this would be the case & he was right. I only see my PCP annually unless I get sick. I am a formal top 100 executive turned competitive athlete so I also have a sport’s medicine Dr / PT that I see when acute injuries may arise. By & large, I’m in the best shape of my life & a national champion in my sport & Dr Spanos has contributed to my well being over the years. Beyond treating my medical issues, he encouraged me to add running to my daily training & it helped tremendously. Even though my current PCP is awesome, my loyalty will always be with Dr Spanos. "
