"As a patient at Psycamore, I believe his bedside manner is sub-par. He was not familiar with my chart, and he questioned medications and diagnoses from my previous psychiatrist (who was voted one of the best psychiatrists in the country and has many more qualifications than Dr. Ladner). He does not seem to be familiar with other side effects of depression or bipolar spectrum disorder. "

"He seems to mostly just biding his time in his job until retirement. He doesn't do much other than listen and repeat back to you what you said if he does anything at all. He takes little any initiative and has few to no suggestions if you bring up issues. He doesn't always leave politics out of what he says (does it indirectly but appears to be very, very conservative) which in my opinion is inappropriate. If you need bariatric surgery you are stuck dealing with him as he is the gatekeeper for that so be careful what you say or don't say. No idea if he is competent or not as he is incredibly passive. "
