"I had seen this doctor years ago and was informed by him that I had Sjogren's Disease, it is an auto immune disease. I have felt bad for almost a year, dealing with a few different docs and them coming up with nothing, so I insisted on other blood tests, finally I was told to go to a Rheumatologist again, so I went back to this one. I have had to be off from work due to my constant fatigue, pain and stiffness. When my internist referred me out for this care, I would felt he would understand I can't lost my job, but I can't work right now until I feel better, and he based his decision of not helping me keep my job, he told me to get another doctor to keep me off from work, I was not asking for indefinitely, just until I could get some care and feel better. So, I left and will seek a more professional, caring and understanding physician. Good luck in your search also. Also, he does not keep his appointment times either and his staff is not welcoming or friendly. Good luck!!"

"Dr Dehlendorf is a great doctor. Compassion, thorough, patient and I really connected with her. Some time ago the office asked if I would mind seeing a nurse practitioner, IsabelHartig, every other visit and I thought it would be worth it. I was wrong. She ordered in office labs that were not covered by my insurance plan ($500 out of pocket for me), she sent me on two medical wild goose chases spending time and money on issues that were not really issues. Like most of us seeing a rheumatologist you have to "ratio" your healthcare dollars and the time and money spent on these processes set me back. Finally, I decided I wouldn't see the NP again. I called and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Dehlendorf. Five days before the appointment set for Jan 3rd I was called to confirm my insurance plan and everything checked out but it was strange. The next day another call. My appointment with the Doctor was cancelled, if I was to come in I had to see the NP, PERIOD, and the NP didn't have any availability for the Jan 3rd. I explained my concerns and the staff member, who never identified herself, said she would talk to Dr. D. An hour later I get a call from the practice manager, YOU CANNOT COME BACK UNLESS YOU SEE THE NURSE PRACTITIONER. Again, I went over the concerns and she hung up telling me she wasn't going to listen to lies about their staff. So what do you do, great doctor with an awful team. I will find someone else but I feel bad for Dr. D and all those patients that have to deal with this office. I did not make a big deal out of the waste of time and money other than refuse to do it again and for that sin I have been cast out. Medications I have been using needed a refill? NOPE. Go somewhere else. Compassion and medical professionalism at its best."
