"Dr Swords is an extremely warm and attentive physician. She is always accessible and receptive to my questions and concerns. She provides a thorough examination/interview at each wellness appointment. She is up to date on current screening recommendations and medications. She offers Telehealth as well which has been easy to use and worked with my schedule. My spouse and I are both very satisfied with the office staff and whole office experience. Highly recommend!"

"Samin Akhtar, M.D., has been my Primary Care Physician for two-and-a-half years now, at Meritas Health North Kansas City (next to North Kansas City Hospital). *She is wonderful.* She listens to me, explains things thoroughly when she talks to me, and her demeanor is calm and friendly. I cannot say enough GREAT things about her. Her nurse is also efficient, as well as courteous and is calm and welcoming. Lastly, the office support staff is great, too. I've never had better care anywhere, and I'm 72, so I've seen a few doctors in my lifetime. "

" I am a cancer survivor of 2yrs. I was admitted with difficulty breathing, trouble swallowing, ongoing dry cough. Dr Kapur basically told me I was just out of shape and over weight ( 5'7" , 170LBS ) is why I didn't pass stress test and released me. Now, six months later, after seeing a real doctor, I have two tumors on my lungs, with one of those setting on a vein, and multiple nodules on my thyroid.
