"I was matched with her on BetterHelp.com. She messaged me a couple of times prior saying hello and looking forward to meeting you. The day of our appt she didn’t show. I sent messages and got no answer. I googled what to do in this scenario and found a site saying to contact the doctor directly, so I did and left a message at her office. She wrote a quick, dismissive apology, explained that she’d overbooked herself and didn’t pay attention to her schedule, and asked if I’d like to reschedule. I said no and asked a question about refunds. She wrote me back and said “Please contact customer support. Do not ever call my private practice again. That is COMPLETELY separate from anything on this website.” I cannot believe a professional would respond to a patient this way regarding their own mistake; especially dealing with people whose mental health is suffering."
