"I've just read the review from Sept 28 and I had the exact same impression from my visit. I could not describe it any better. I felt like she might be having some personal issues, because she seemed slightly unhinged. I can concur that I also found her unfocussed, condescending (and defensive), and she did not provide me with any information that I could not have found online (which she was looking up on her phone during my consultation.) I went to her because many other derms were booked for months and yet she had availability, now I understand why. If your problem is not pressing, I would suggest waiting to see another Dr. "

"Doctor's office lobby is all white leather seats, huge vases, and turquoise inset lighting. Parking downstairs requires valet (!) even if you don't want that. Feels like a MedSpa, not a doctor's office. Since I didn't come for that pricey stuff, it might explain the dismissive bedside manner by the PA, who saw me when I thought I'd made an appointment for Dr. Gerson. PA handed me a sample med without ever saying it's actual name, explaining how it worked, or what caused my condition. I will go elsewhere next time for my humble dermatological needs. "

"AVOID CYNTHIA WALLACE AT ALL COSTS. I can't emphasize this enough: FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER. She provides terrible care and customer service. Do not give her your money. Learn from my mistakes!! I contacted the state medical board. July: I was given a diagnosis and prescribed a cream as treatment. My insurance didn't cover the cream so I when I received the denial letter with criteria, I called the physicians office asking them to call it in again it fitting the criteria the insurance was asking for (which they agreed I met). They said they would call it in. Upon leaving my appt I was scheduled for a 745am appt on a Friday in August. Multiple calls later, STILL DON'T HAVE THE CREAM. August: I arrive to my 745am appt and was told I'M NOT ON THE CALENDAR. I had to wait 30 minutes for them to fit me in. Multiple calls later, STILL DON'T HAVE THE CREAM. September: Multiple calls later, STILL DON'T HAVE THE CREAM. October: Multiple calls later, STILL DON'T HAVE THE CREAM. I got a confirmation call on Wednesday for an 730am appt on Friday. Upon arriving Friday morning at 730am the doors were locked and when I called the office, the voicemail said phones were not being answered until 830am. I waited until 8am when someone showed up and apologized that the door was locked. I said I had been knocking and calling. I talked to my provider Cynthia Wallace who had been inside and tried to tell me the door was unlocked and I could've called?!? The door was locked and the phones weren't being answered!!!! She gave me no apology and was completely heartless. I was speechless. I chose to not stay for my appointment and walked out saying I'll never return again after all the issues between my treatment and the customer service. Cynthia Wallace does not demonstrate any care for her patients. It's been three months, multiple medical bills, two appointments for which I showed up and I either wasn't on their schedule or the door was locked for 30 min and I was given no apology, and still no treatment that I came in for in the first place. I felt disrespected throughout my visits and phone calls and regret ever giving this practice a dime."
