"Dr. Barton is now working with Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon. He performed a procedure on me last month and I feel very lucky to have gotten him as my surgeon. He patiently explained the options, the procedure, and the recovery during the pre-op appointment, taking the time to go over the information he had for me plus my list of questions. Since it was a major surgery, I requested a second opinion, and then Dr. Barton returned my call after hours to discuss what the other dr. had said. Dr. Barton and can tell you the statistics on all the possible complications, etc. off the top of his head. The surgery went perfectly, the scars are minimal and I have had no complications at all. In addition to being very thorough, patient and skilled, Dr. Barton has a lot of personality and a great sense of humor. Obviously those aren't the main things to look for in a surgeon, but they help establish trust when you're having to put your health in the hands of a virtual stranger and helped make the whole process less scary. "
