"I would never go to this doctor again. I was in extreme pain. She and her staff were terribly insensitive to my pain. I called her office, only to speak to Ronna, who told me not to "talk to her like that," and I was only sobbing crying telling her how much pain I was in. Mind you, this was my second call. The first call, wherein I described the pain I was in after being treated at their office that day, fell on deaf ears. The person with whom I spoke sounded like there was a mantra being spoken to me, a 60-year-old female, worked in the court system all her life, including Drug Court, told me, "Dr. Miller (who wasn't even my doctor) doesn't give pain medicine for removing a toenail." Yes, I did want pain medicine, because I felt like there is a reason science has given doctors the wherewithal to alleviate pain. Again, I am not a drug abuser, but felt like I was a possible suspect after speaking to the office staff. Caron Harner, didn't you take an oath to help your patients? Is pain management included within your helping patients, or is your attitude, suck it up. Why did it take you so long to call me back after paging you to tell you of my pain? My toenail was torn half off after playing tennis and had to be removed the rest of the way, leaving red, bleeding, irritated, oozing tissue, and exposed skin. I was at Kroger tonight and a child asked me what was wrong with my toe. I told him about my toenail. He winced. A child, mind you, had that insight as to the pain. I WOULD NEVER SUBJECT ANYONE I CARED ABOUT OR MYSELF TO THIS OFFICE AGAIN."
