Dermatologists - Hopkinsville, KY

"This review is for Michelle Smith. I never thought I would be inclined to write a review on my dermatologist, and I'll be submitting this wherever I can. I agree with all the other complaints, NEVER on time, cancels and then reschedules 6 months later, and makes it a point to talk right over you, or talk so persistently that you won't get a word in, unless you're the one that comes across as rude. I was so patient with this one, and I thought she was one of the good ones, but no she is not. My next atypical mole removal is scheduled for November, and it's May. I've watched people die in that amount of time from melanoma (my father) so I will be looking for someone else. The second thing, I was referred by my doctor for eczema that my dr was not familiar with. My dr gave me a steroid shot and a steroid cream, both of which didn't seem to do anything. I told Smith what was given to me, and then she continued on, talking over me of course, about how she doesn't like the steroid shots or the steroid cream, and that she would prescribe me something in gel form that wasn't a steroid cream, which would better help my symptoms. Great, I was very hopeful it might work. She prescribed me the SAME EXACT CREAM that she sat there and badmouthed my dr for prescribing, and I'm not able to say wtf enough. It can't be that hard to take a biopsy, send it in, and do your job the entire time, which is pretty much just doing biopsies. I would rather die of melanoma before I go back there, just because the wait alone will kill me. The ignorance and double talk of telling me what I already know will just overkill me. No thank you. If you're the type of person that hate's bu11sh1t, please stay away from this one."
