Primary Care Doctors - Portage, IN

"Have had two visits with the Dr. Had read reviews on him but thought I would give him a chance since the reviews seemed a bit subjective. They were spot on. He seems to know what he is talking about but he constantly cut me off when I was trying to explain the situation, was condescending, and ultimately would not let me get out what I had been feeling. First visit was pain in testicle. He ordered an ultrasound and we found an epididymal cyst. OK. Second visit was two weeks later after having odd sensations in my neck, head, and left arm. He lectured me for a good 15 minutes of the visit on how I suffer from extreme anxiety and how I am looking for a diagnosis. Excuse me? You got this from my second visit? He went on to tell me that I am going to set myself up to be "medically hurt" if I keep thinking something was wrong. Again, would not let me fully explain the situation without cutting me off and taking it back to me having extreme anxiety. Talked down to me repeatedly: "you talk way too fast and that is not normal." "You are not focusing when you explain your problem and that is a problem. The words you choose are very telling." "OK, what happened? (I start explaining what I felt - that I felt sick after eating and my throat/mouth was dry). Cuts me off then "No, that is not possible with GERD." "You would be happy if I said you had a heart attack when really you need to talk to your therapist." "I'll bet you my car you will not fall down dead when you leave my office." Honestly, I felt like I'd just gotten out of an argument with my ex-wife or something after I left. I just had my last appointment a few hours ago and really, this guy has got a problem with his attitude. I go to a doctor to be heard and to rule out my concerns, not talk down to me and make me feel like I'm fishing for a diagnosis after my 2nd visit."

"I have gone to this doctor and his office for about 10 years. I have never waited over 10 minutes to see the doctor's. Usually I am the only one there. Once I think there was a man and his wife there and they waited about 5 minutes. Then in 5 minutes I was called in. The people there are outstanding I have no complaints. "

"told him i had new insurance aetna and they would only cover twice a year visits for my a1c he then got nasty and said," i can't help it you have shity insurance buy a new one that's when my wife i left"
