Obstetricians and Gynecologists - Crown Point, IN

"This is the worst OB I've ever had the misfortune of crossing paths with. Terrible bedside manner, abrupt, condescending, and rude. Literally too many negatives to list them all. Long story short, she made my birth experience downright traumatizing. Delivery was a nightmare. She returns pages with no sense of urgency onceoever. Both times she was paged for me she took between and hour and an hour and a half to even respond. She mocked me for showing up at the hospital with contractions two minutes apart like I was being silly and should still be at home but she missed the birth five hours later because it took her so long to respond to her page. She refused my request for an epidural for so long by the time they actually gave it to me it was completely ineffective because I gave birth less than an hour later. I literally had a nurse holding my legs shut begging me not to push because the baby was crowning with each contraction... with basically no pain meds, for an hour while we waited for her. My husband finally had enough and was on his way out the door to grab the first doctor he could find when the nurse finally caved and let me push. The doctor had a fit that the baby was already there when she finally arrived and made a point to berate everyone involved, right there in the room. Totally unprofessional, not to mention uncalled for since no one could help the fact she took over an hour to show up. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone."
