" I am unable, after 2+ years of seeing her, to recommend this therapist. She started by requiring me to buy a book, whose relevance to my particular situation she did not explain, then continued to suggest more and more expensive add-ons to the therapy I was paying her for. She seemed, generally, lacking in ideas about how to help, and seemed to rely on books and others to help her! No trust was established. "

"This guy is absolutely awful. He is judgemental and completely unprofessional. Upon the first meeting, he will size you up and then cut you down. He will label you and make you feel terrible about trying to be open with him. And if you have any flaws - be ready to have them immediately pointed out to you. Watch out for this guy and if you are reading this before deciding to meet him, consider yourself very fortunate. How in the world this man was ever effective, I'll never know. Whatever he good he has/had done in the past is totally erased by his behavior with me. Perhaps he is just very old and cranky now, because he certainly doesn't give a **** about people. He needs to stop practicing immediately. ALSO his "office" is his home for whatever strange reason. Another very unprofessional situation. You will go into his basement where he puts you in a little room in his large home and it smells entirely of kitty litter. So enjoy that. "
