"Dr Sasaki was a great doctor for the last 7 years. If they stop taking your insurance and are ending all services, there is no loophole going around the required 1 polite respectful letter at least 30 days in advance with records info and referrals. Staff have phoned to do this and abruptly terminate at appointment dates demanding cash even for records at appt date. Any attempt to remedy with third persons keeps being turned into more which is why staff like this do this. I had to search the portal to find out what the electronic records were for interim use, most of which are impossible to use computer listings of visits. This isn't. The outrage of no referral and that they do take my insurance at all sites is making me angry as is the inability to terminate the harassment every day. Get your records electronically as actual records, and run. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else."

"In middle of gyne exam with gloves on. His phone rings and he stops to answer it....completes call and proceeds with exam without changing gloves or anything. I have 3 problems with this. First the gloves issue second I'm paying for my time with you and third even without names never discuss one patient's health issues in front of another patient! "

I was so caught off guard by the misogyny and lack of autonomy over my own medical decisions that I didn’t think to have her document this in my chart. In the same timeframe, Dr. O’Leary also diagnosed me with high-grade cervical dysplasia (I.e. pre-cancerous cells) and determined my course of treatment would be follow-up after I had babies, rather even sharing the options for a minimally invasive procedure to treat it before getting pregnant. Essentially, she prioritized my potential as a human incubator over my healthcare as a fully independent human woman. I went on to find a provider who is living with the rest of is in the 21st century. Absolutely disgusting to be treated like that, doubly so by a female doctor."
