Family Medicine practitioners - Oak Park, IL

"I started seeing Dr. Alison Sage in 2019 and immediately knew I wanted to start seeing her as my primary physician. She is professional and thorough every visit and ensures I am up to date on all my checkups, exams, etc. Dr. Sage also puts as much care into mental health as she does in physical health. Even though I typically see her for physical visits about a year apart she always asks about life events that we discussed the year prior (i.e. asking about a new job or relationship) which shows a level of care and attention. She is the most personable and approachable doctor I've had and makes me feel very comfortable to speak candidly about my physical and mental wellbeing. Regarding Edward Elmhurst Health in Oak Park as a facility I also speak very highly of them. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and every visit was punctual. Whether I had an appointment or utilized the walk-in immediate care clinic wait times were short which is one of my favorite things about this office. Their online portal is also easy to navigate and I've been able to request prescription refills easily with a quick response. I would rate this office and Dr. Sage a 10/5. I recently moved to the city and will be commuting to the suburbs so that I can continue to use Dr. Sage as my primary physician.
