I went to Dr. Cardenas upon the recommendation of my primary care physician. He was the first doctor to order an MRI. The MRI showed a tumor in my foot. He immediately contacted me, talked with me about the options, and then recommended that I go to SLU oncology in order to have the very best equipment and specializations available to me. I had an appointment scheduled with SLU hospital in one week and surgery one week after that. My tumor was benign and the pain is completely gone! "
