Endocrinologists - Crest Hill, IL

"I haven't seen the doctor yet, but have been given a hard time by the office staff when making the appointment and two days before prior to my apt. I explained when making the apt I didn't need a referral and the receptionist acted like she didn't believe me. The same lady called me two days before my apt (over a month after making the apt) and stated that she knows I said I don't need a referral but they think I do so just wanted to let me know that I may not be seen when I come in. I told her I'd email a copy of my card or they can call - according to her they don't call insurance and they don't have email. I asked to talk to the office manager who was equally as unpleasant and stated that they truly don't have patient access email and that when I come in I could be told I may be responsible for the full payment if insurance requires referral. At that point, I told her that was a far better statement than being told I may not be seen by the doctor and when I come in I hope my experience isn't as disappointing as it's already been and she told me I could cancel my apt. SERIOUSLY??????? Nice customer service - I'm hoping the doctor knows what she's doing and cares about her practice. "
