"I am sorry, but this doctor has not been thorough in evaluating my friend's situation. I am a physician as well, albeit not a psychiatrist. My friend is not in the courts nor a legal client. Her employer wanted her evaluated because she trashed her office 2 years ago, in a fit of frustration, yet not damaging any expensive employer-owned equipment. She did pour coffee on her diploma. ... Dr Felthous bases his evaluations mainly on rumors and undocumented information, and uses this to make my friend's life miserable. He doesn't seem to care. This is so that he can earn the 10s of thousands of dollars her employer paid him, plus maybe more. Her employer does not want to fire her, but wants to cover its butt at the same time. He advises her employer that she undergo therapy from a psychologist "once a week" for the last 1.5 years, and wants six months and likely a year more, despite this being a severe burden on her life and both her psychologist and psychiatrist have reported in writing that she doesn't need this. Her employer does not want another opinion, even though she has offered to pay for this, likely due to the shockingly high amount already paid. Dr Felthous does not define treatment goals, but when her treatment and progress has been presented to him, he seems dissatisfied but does not explain why. I think it justifies him continuing to see her for "reevaluation" at more potential expense to her employer or herself. She has never verbally abused, nor threatened, nor physically harmed anyone at work. There are multiple testimonials from coworkers and managers available regarding this fact, but Dr. Felthous never bothered to look into this. He bases this mysogynistic vitriol (IMHO) mainly on the night when she threw books and papers in her office over two years ago, when no one was around, and cleaned it up thorougly, but not before a antagonistic coworker saw the mess and reported it (even taking photos of it).
