"I had the same family doctor (in Springfield) for nearly thirty-five years, but unfortunately, he retired. A friend recommended that I switch to HSHS in Chatham and that Dr. Joanne Mayberry would be a "good fit" for me. Since she is accepting new patients and is In-Network with my insurance provider, I decided to schedule an appointment with her. After an initial meeting for my annual physical, I am convinced "Dr. Mayberry is the one." She is knowledgeable, empathetic, personable, and proactive. All of the things I was looking for in a new doctor! And as a bonus—the staff at HSHS is courteous, helpful, and professional. "
