"I should have listened to my instincts when the staff on the phone seemed annoyed to be providing me service. I quickly knew who it was that I spoke to when I encountered her at the office. A different receptionist acted annoyed to even greet me at the door. I have worked in the service industry a long time and just don't have the patience for unfriendliness. I even had a hard time finding which door was theirs in the array of buildings within the parking lot. I had received about half a dozen confirmations, in text, email, call prior to my appointment!! It was too much! The dr was very short with me during the appt, came across as judgmental when I said I prefer holistic treatment options first. He wanted to remove some moles on me at my first ever visit, which I was NOT prepared for. Handed me a bunch of reading materials and I was in and out in 15 minutes! I wasn't greeted by the staff nor the dr as a new patient or a thank you for my business. I had selected this dr based on the massive amount of good reviews. Needless to say, I will be seeking a 2nd opinion."

"It was alright experience, just wanted a simple skin sample and personalized skincare advice. He treated my warts, he asked why should I get skin sample because there’s nothing seems to be wrong with my skin. I felt confused because aren’t dermatologists supposed "

"Dr Kozeny failed to recognize a cancerous growth and did not remove enough of it: the report mentions cancer cells at the base and border of the sample. During surgery to remove a sebaceous cyst, he and his assistant did not wear face masks and keep talking close to the open incision even after I requested them not to talk there. Risk to my health is significantly higher because of these concerns."

"Met Dr. Hoepfner in the emergency room. Fell on ice and broke wrists in two separate years. Surgery involved titanium wrists implants followed by 3 months of hand therapy. Dr. Hoepfner and his staff was responsive, empathetic to get me functional quickly. I had to wait several weeks for surgery for my 2nd fall, but I felt it was worth it because he is such a good surgeon. He also referred me to other highly competent doctors to help me with other skeletal issues."

"Dr. Shah did my right hip replacement at the IBJ Surgicenter in Morton Grove, excellent staff and very well-run facility. I arrived at 8:00AM for pre-op and surgery scheduled for 9:45 went off exactly on time, took less than 1 hour and after post-op time and a trip to the PT facility watch me climb up and down some steps, I was discharger and home before 1:00 PM. Walking around my home with my walker. Dr. Shah's specific procedure for hip replacement reduces the recovery time and seemed to be less painful during the rehab process. I went to him because he did my mother's hip revision of a faulty implant, and he did such a good job in difficult circumstances, ended up being about a three- and half-hour surgery, with very good outcome."
