Audiologists - Milledgeville, GA

"I received new hearing aids 10/24/18 - Oticon OPN. My previous hearing aids had domes and not working well for me - she even laughed that the previous audiologist would suggest domes as a fix. She said I needed molds to get the kind of hearing I needed. But yesterday when getting my fitting done, I told her that it sounded like a tunnel sort of noise and my voice like a microphone - thinking maybe because it's new. She then switches to dome - which she laughed at initially. Also, my hearing aids did not come in a manufacturer's box or a manual - how do I know these are new and not used or refurbished? Still have not received answer for that. However, the domes were making my right ear feel like my ears were constantly popping so I emailed Dr. Feigenbaum and she said I could come by anytime next morning to switch back to molds - just to let her know what time. So I called and Rhonda tells me that doctor wants me to stick with the domes. I said no, that I don't understand why we are not going by initial plan? Still no answer. Rhonda said I can come at 1:30 but Dr. Feigenbaum told me I could come by anytime - no appointment necessary. So I went ahead and went to doctor at 9:30 because I was struggling with right ear at work. Rhonda didn't seem apologetic or understanding. Dr. Feigenbaum didn't seemed worry either. I said I will go ahead and return everything because I do not feel comfortable working with these two. Again, no sympathy from Rhonda and never did see the doctor. She was ready with my refund for my deductible. I just worry that they may be taking advantage of elders - mainly the customers that they have - no box for something new - no manual - don't try to fix but leave it the same. Just so very disappointing!"
