"So this is a first, I called the office to become a new patient to have the phone answered by a "Concierge Service" who informed me that for $2,100...."which I could pay quarterly", I could make an appointment to meet with the Dr. What? Never had this happen before. Why would I pay $2,100 to do what I can do at another Dr's office for free? If you want less patients just say you're not taking any, but why would you think it's ok to charge a premium just to make an appointment? "

"I was initially excited to work with Dr. Jayashree Veliyath after my first visit because I felt she was understanding the troubles I was experiencing. However, after multiple visits, my experience has been disappointing. I’ve been left feeling unheard, misunderstood, and as though my health concerns are not being taken seriously. Despite expressing the seriousness of my issues, I often feel like my problems are brushed aside. One particularly frustrating instance occurred when I needed further testing for a serious health concern. Dr. Veliyath refused to "step on the toes" of another provider and instead advised me to reach out to them directly, which felt like passing the responsibility off rather than taking proactive steps to address my care. During our discussions, Dr. Veliyath often misses important details or doesn’t fully engage with the specifics of my concerns. I reviewed her medical notes and was frustrated to see that some of the main issues I raised were not even documented. This lack of attention to detail is deeply concerning, especially when it comes to managing my health. On a positive note, I will say that the office staff has been pleasant to work with, which is the only aspect of the experience that has been positive so far. Given these ongoing issues, I no longer feel confident in Dr. Veliyath’s ability to provide the care I need, and I will be seeking a new provider within the year."

"Since November 2016, I've visited the office 3 times. Each time, I've experienced the assistant taking my blood pressure with my arm suspended in the air. My blood pressure is always higher than usual. The arm should be resting, when blood pressure is taken. I'm not sure if she is skiddish about touching me, or is just poorly trained. During my most recent follow-up visit in August 2017, I told Dr. Peng's PA that I had a very raw throat and discomfort in my upper respiratory system. She never looked at my throat, nor listened to my respiration. Later, Dr. Peng came into the exam room to give me a refill prescription. He was told the same information regarding my discomfort and he did nothing. He did not looked at my throat, or listen to my respiration. I'm not sure what is the reason for such indifference. I sure hope that it's not a racial bias."
