Primary Care Doctors - Lithia Springs, GA

"I have autism and they caused me much distress. They were very disorganized and untimely. The nurse couldn't get blood drawn fully even though I have really good veins and having stuck me several times. Doctor forgot to put referrals every time. Wait times were lengthy. All these issues caused me to have anxiety for lengthy periods well after I left the office. I called after a few things going wrong and spoke to a supervisor about my disability accommodations and at the end of me listing things that were causing me to have anxiety and such she responded in a snarky manner "if you don't like how things are being done then why don't go somewhere else". I told her that was rather rude of her and she shouldn't have said that and that I shouldn't have to go look somewhere else when we can resolve these issues. She then replied that I needed to find someone where else for services and they will be sending me a letter for termination of services. Yet I thought I was using an open door policy for concerns without the fear of retaliation. The incident has caused me to be afraid to seek out another PCP since it happened in June of 2017. All the rest of the staff were great other than the supervisor and doctor. Even the nurse who couldn't get blood was super nice. Lastly the place is really dingy and not so well up kept. "

"We love Dr Ransom and the whole staff at West Atl Peds. Dr. Ransom has excellent bedside manners , is great with all of our kids, and takes her time with each patient so that you don't feel rushed . Wait times are usually very short, even during high volume times. I can't say enough good things about this practice! "
