Family Medicine practitioners - Johns Creek, GA

"I have been a patient of her practice for awhile. Prior to this visit I was not concerned about the price she charges for service until my recent insurance change which now requires me to pay out of pocket until i meet a deductible. I went in for simple prescription refills, one was a requested change of drug brand. They submitted a level 4 office visit (highest level) to insurance and added fluff to the description of my visit to make insurance not question the charges. This resulted in me owing the office $180 from the $260 they submitted. After calling the office for an explanation as to why the charges were so high and asking what i would pay as a non insurance customer I was told it would have only been $110. I then asked why I couldn't pay that amount, the response was "since we already submitted to insurance we cant retract it because it would look like they were doing insurance fraud. I have since been to a specialist and had x-rays and a procedure along with the office visit and paid a lot less. Rethink your visit with her and review the charges they are wanting insurance to pay, doctors like her are the reason insurance cost are at an all time high. Scam artist!!!"

"After just two visits to Village Medical, where she practices out of in Johns Creek, she has gained my trust and respect. She is sharp, witty, understanding, and has already provided the exact type of help that I needed. I haven't had a consistent primary care provider in years and that's changed since meeting Dr. Hope. It's very comforting knowing that she is just around the corner AND she's usually AVAILABLE. That's hard to find. I look forward to establishing an ongoing Doctor - Patient relationship with her as she is a genuine listener that is able to see me for who I am and what I really need. Thank you Dr. Hope."

"Dr. Jun Ro is fantastic. He actually spends time with his patients and discusses their health with them. Feel free to ask questions regarding medications, diet, symptoms, etc. Almost all records are kept electronically, so review of previous records is quite easy. Dr. Ro also seems to be knowledgeable about the latest medical treatments and technologies. Further, Emory Johns Creek hospital is literally in the building next door, so world class health services are not far away. Small office with limited staff, but that has never caused an issue for me. LaShonda, office manager/medical assistant, is great at her job as well. Appointments are generally on time. In house lab results are usually available within 1-2 days, AND, Dr. Ro will call the results to you personally! I highly recommend Dr. Ro and his practice to anyone!"
