"I forgot to add to my last review on my beloved Father's care at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital from April 2023. The horrific questionable care we endured from Dr. Viral Mainak Patel seems he had little concern or compassion for my elderly 78 year old dad. Daddy had an infection from an indwelling catheter which had aggravated his heart. Although the infection cleared , daddy was eating well and I was told he would be ready to come home in days, daddy wanted me to take him home, but I trusted them , hopeful they might find another heart med. The next day. a x -ray contrast dye was given to dad with no real reason, I was told it was safe by a rude mean nurse . However read later this is not recommended for elderly people in heart failure. Daddy's neck swelled and he filled up with fluids within an hour after the x ray dye was given. It's odd to me Dr. Patel was not concerned and did not look for any solutions for my dad dangerous reaction to this dye.. As was told by a group of respiratory therapists after the contrast dye, that this was an allergic reaction to the dye. Daddy laid for days with a C- pack as his heart worsened. Dr. Patel said nothing but "He was old and to just wait till the next day" its seemed odd but I trusted him that he wanted to help my dad come home . Then my dad is suddenly positive for Covid just days before his passing. I have to question if it has anything to do with the bonus pay outs, the government pays up to 30,000 per COVID cases. Dr. Patel also asked about his mobility, Even if my dad was not in perfect health and was using a wheelchair at the time due to the infection off the catheter. He still enjoyed his life and spending time with family. Older people should be valued and cherished. The doctors odd remarks about my dad being old over and over, makes me think he does not have any empathy for the elderly., my father deserved better than the third world care he was given. As my dad died in my arms I felt I was in the movie "Soylent Green" ,when a dystopian world had little regard for the handicap or elderly, useless eaters. As tears fell , Dr. Patel said with empty eyes, devoid of humanity that me My daddy said he was ready to die, old people know when its their time. Dr. Patel has arrogant bedside manners. He twisted my dads words, when my dad was asking to come home to his family. In conclusion I would not recommend this person for anyone you care about or elderly care. My daddy was a good man and very precious to me, if I'd known better,I would never put him in this kind of danger, perhaps we are just victims of the evil times we are in."

"I tried calling for Dr. Bradshaw to try and get a new Primary in my area. It was very difficult to get through to a person and I had to make several calls and be transferred several times before they even got me in the right state. Fyi, the number listed for him not correct and will not reach the office he works at, so be aware. After leaving messages and calling over 13 times, I was finally able to speak to someone. They were not helpful at all, and lets just say I was not able to schedule any new appointments or get to this doctor. They made this process incredibly difficult and unnecessary. Dr. Bradshaw, you need to replace your team if getting new patients is a priority. "
