"My hubby and I took our autistic and ADHD son to this office after being recommended. He was very late for our first appt.... but it went ok. Our 2nd appointment was tough, he doesn't seem interested in listening to everything we had to say. We followed directions but wasn't getting much information out of him. Lastly, I had to re-schedule our 3 appt 2 times due to my job and the fact that we only have 1 vehicle at the time. Well I received a letter of termination for missing my appointment. I called to tell them i never missed an appt....the assistant told me hold on....Mr. Pol answers and told me that he doesn't get paid when we don't show up .... well, I told him we don't need your service and thank you!!! Talk about rude!! unprofessional!! I will never spend my money there again, and we have excellent insurance....just a word to the wise.....beware..........."

"Took my wife to see Dr. Ellis. We spoke on the phone for an initial consultation and decided to proceed with the first appointment. She seemed like a soft spoken, and caring person, just the kind of therapist my wife wanted - someone to whom she could pour out her feelings and thoughts and get positive feedback in return. Instead, what she got was judgmental reactions and a very, "You can't do that. Don't bother setting goals," attitude. She apparently understood all about how my wife was treated growing up without asking or trying to understand what my wife told her. She continuously interrupted my wife, who was having trouble expressing her thoughts. And in those interruptions, she would inject her own narcissistic feelings - "Well, that's not how it was when I was growing up." Um, really? WHO CARES how YOU grew up? Things are a little different now than they were in the 60s. Please - please - if you are reading this, please reconsider. There are quite a few other therapist options. "

"Jill is the greatest. I've been going to her for years, and her insight is invaluable. As with any therapist, if you don't implement the solutions, you're not gonna get anywhere. She's not going to coddle you, so be ready for growth if you choose her. But that's why I love her, even if I'm really bad at doing things on my own behalf. Love her!"
