Emergency Medicine Doctors - Weston, FL

"I am embarrassed Cleveland Clinic Weston Florida has this joke of a doctor working for their ER Dept. Although it is not Cleveland Clinic fault I have to drive so far, it is important to note I drove five hours in the late evening of 3/29/22 to go to the ER at the direction of my Rheumatologist also from Cleveland Clinic for help with pain. I walked in at 8:30pm in level 10 pain and was discharged at 4:30 am still in level 10 pain. This man shoved me out of the ER with a high dose of Oxycodone at the very last hour, knowing I had a minimum of a five hour drive home at 4:30 in the morning, after 8 hours of being humiliated and run down by man! He literally pulled my bandages off with his gloved fingers, grabbing the exact spots of my ulcers. I guess Cleveland Clinic cannot afford scissors these days. I have four specialists I see at CC, I have a very serious condition. I do not recommend this horrible, non-caring person. I am writing to the Florida Board of Medicine next. Sherry at the front desk is no better. There was no greeting, nothing that made me feel good about visiting Cleveland Clinic, Weston. I have four specialists I see there, none of which have helped in the past five months. My ulcers have doubled in size since under the care of your so-called specialists. Last night's eight hour ER visit broke the "camel's back." I am legally handicap and was again treated like I did something wrong. There is zero compassion, zero concern and Ethan Heit kept me for eight hours, drugged me up at the end, knowing I had a five hour drive home. I slept in the parking lot until almost noon. Woke up in my car in more pain than I was in when I arrived. I am hiring a case manager to advocate for me, this is not what I expect from the number two medical facility in the US! I feel violated, I am asking my insurance company to look into the lack of care I have received over the last five months. I think it is convenient that there is no way to email the clinic.
