Primary Care Doctors - Tampa, FL

"Dr. Figueroa-Nieves office calls me at 7:35 to tell me the appointment that I had scheduled a year in advance, this was just for my annual checkup , that I've had to reschedule 2 times, (once because he wasn't able to keep my appointment at the scheduled time the other was because he was sick) can no longer be met at the current time, because the doctor is out of the office today, Sick, again. I call them back to let them know that I had requested off work to be able to make this appointment... And that I was extremely irritated to not be let know until hours before the appointment.. To which they proceeded to tell me that they have no idea who would have told me that he was out of the office because he is in the office but not until 8 a.m. And that the office isn't even open yet so she has no idea who could have called me... I call back at 8:10 and they apologize for the inconvenience that he is out of the office sick. So now for over a year and a half I'm having to reschedule with my doctor because his available appointment dates are usually not available for 3 months. His staff doesn't know what they are talking about and are often confused. When you do finally see the doctor and explain your symptoms and your problems that you've been having for over 5 years he then looks at you like you're an idiot write the prescription for you if you insist upon it but is displeased and tries to refer you to another doctor. This "medical professional" office is a joke. Be wary and refer your business elsewhere"
