"I went to Dr Silverstein for a consult on my knee replacement from 4 years prior as I was experiencing pain, swelling, etc. Dr Silverstein listened to everything I had to say, asked questions and then laid out options he felt was in my best interest. After discussing and making decisions for testings we proceeded with them. Dr Silverstein kept me well informed, giving me options each time. Ultimately it was decided I would need to replace my current knee replacement. Dr Silverstein was great. I felt well informed. Good plan of care for before during after and during recovery. "I've had two procedures by Dr. Connolly. First, October 2020, right hand carpal release procedure. At this time, the scar is barely noticeable. As expected, due to the loosening of the binding ligament, it's a little harder to use chopsticks... February 2021, left total knee replacement. I WILL be going back to him for the carpal release procedure on my left hand and my right knee replacement in the somewhat near future. After my last ortho doctor kept preaching that I'm too young (mid-50's) for a knee replacement, the arthritic damage spread from the medial compartment (bone-bone, two previous surgeries) to the lateral and shot down my preferred partial replacement.
