"I called to get an appointment with Dr. Hoo and was told he would not see me. So they set an appointment with Dr. Garvey instead. The main reason to go was to find out if I had any lung damage due to using a recalled CPAP machine for 17 years. I brought with me a copy of my sleep study report and advised that I already had a prescription for a new machine. Although Dr. Garvey said he could prescribe a sleep study test and a new machine, he said he did not provide CT scans or chest X-rays to determine lung damage. I let him and his office staff know that since he did not render services that I specifically went there for, I would be filing a claim with my insurance carrier to not pay for the office visit. His staff was rude and condescending and couldn't even tell me how much the visit would cost. But they did set up the next appointment for 3 months down the line. "
