"I had a doctor's appointment with this doctor and had to schedule a follow up visit. Unfortunately I had to reschedule my follow up visit to a different day because of a family emergency. The doctors office sent me a $35 cancellation fee bill for rescheduling my appointment. When I called the doctors office to discuss this charge the staffs response was that they could not assist me because their computer system was showing that I had cancelled & rescheduled at the same time and the fee would still apply. Unfortunately this doctor has lost a patient because of their office practice. "

"This team of deceivers should never be allowed to practice. First the waiting time was over 30 mins. Then DR. Harris Shampain runs in going at 100 mph, no customer service or manners. I went in with my sister and she was rudely told to leave the room. Then i had a list of concerns /questions and he SNATCHED the paper from my hands and started reading them aloud and ridiculing my research. (By the way: he has multiple lawsuits/malpractices against him. Search LICENSE NUMBER: ME42245). Even after going against my gut instincts, I later was told that the Doctor had lost Hospital privileges (where the original surgery was going to take place) only a couple of days before surgery and that he was going to preform my surgery in his office in Pembroke Pines. I was not happy nor comfortable with this last moment decision and demanded a $500 refund for my deposit. Not only did he refuse to give me a refund but he yelled and screamed in my face and said that i was mentally unstable and he refused to do the surgery. WHAT?! What crazy world does this man live in? Who in their right mind would trust a surgeon to preform major surgery on them after lying about losing hospital privileges, not discussing with the patient about changes made, and then yelling at the patient to leave the premisses and that THEY now have "Psychological Instability: Unable to preform surgery" so they can get out of return the patient's deposit. This is a total scam. I later found a better qualified physician."
