"Had a rash that required immediate attention. Went to this office and the doctor seemed in such a rush and had no time to explain the diagnosis plan. Only took sample and gave Cortisone shoot. I was not sure if he fully listened and understood my condition. His successor doctor is much more approachable and give time to his patients. I was happy he moved on to another location. "

"For something as simple as a prescription refill, you end up making a dozen calls or driving to the office because they don't return calls. Although Dr. Varghese seems quite capable, the lack of follow up from the staff is very, very disappointing. With the limited choices, this should be unacceptable to Aetna as well. During the writing of this review, I received an email from my insurance provider stating the following: Here’s an update about your prior authorization request We closed your prior authorization request because we did not receive information from your provider. So now I'm wondering if they ever submitted the proper paperwork to get prescription approval. Can't say I would be surprised if this was the case."

"We have used Sarah's services for 4+ years with no complaints. In one appointment, I had lesions removed from my face (cosmetic) and I understood the out of pocket cost through my insurance. This was a planned cosmetic procedure that is a quick zap by the dermatologist. On 3/6/23, my annual appointment was concluding with no issues. At the last minute Sarah asked if I wanted to take care of some spot around my temple. Sensing that this was just a friendly ask, I said yes. Very quickly she zapped the spot and that was it. No blood, no pain. This procedure cost $135 ($100 after insurance). My problem is the way she went about it. As I said above, I have had multiple skin tags cosmetically removed from my face and I will gladly pay for that. But to sneak in a quick zap at the end of the appointment just felt wrong. I felt that this was unnecessary and had I known about the cost I would have quickly said no. In conclusion, I paid the bill and cancelled our next annual appointment with Health First Dermatology. We will not be recommending this service and will find another provider. "
