"My experience will Dr. Kalandiak was not the best in listen and his communicated skills is bad. He had good reviews on google so I decided to gave him a try. He advised me the problem with my shoulder was bone on bone (arthritis) and insisted on a steroid injection. It worked for 3 weeks and the pain came back worst. He asked me to come back to see him. During the visit he seemed to be confused about my symptoms and what he believed was the problem. I literally had to tell him to order an MRI, if he was not sure what was wrong with me. The MRI came back that the rotator cuff had a tear involving supraspinatus tendon. He told me that it was wrong that I only had wear and tear which is normal for someone my age, 55. He also told me that I had not been in pain long enough which has been 11 months. I was so upset when I left the hospital. My friends advised me to get a second opinion. I am now in physical therapy because my new orthopedic doctor is excellent. He explained that I had a small tear and inflammation between the clavicle and the rotator cuff which was causing the pain. I could do surgery or try physical therapy. He could not understand why the first orthopedic Dr. did not advise me to have physical therapy especially after getting a steroid injection. I could go on but I believe you get the message of how important it is for your doctor to listen to you and the importance of good communication skills. "

"Dr Menga performed two major surgeries on my back. After years of pain, I no longer have any. Between degenerative disc disease and severe arthritis, my back was a mess. Dr Menga went in and removed the bad disks, replaced some lower ones with spacers, implanted 3 rods from disc T-10 all the way down to my sacrum, attaching to each vertebrae.
